Natalie Johnson, Principal
Hello Viking Families,
I am honored to serve as the Principal of Clement Middle School and to begin my third year as Principal and fifth year as a member of the Clement family. It has been a privilege to grow alongside this incredible school community, and I am grateful each day for the opportunity to serve our students, staff, and families.
My journey in education began in the classroom, where I taught high school Spanish for nine years before transitioning into administration. Those experiences continue to shape my leadership by reinforcing the importance of strong relationships, high expectations, and creating meaningful learning opportunities for every student.
During my time at Clement, I have had the privilege of serving first as Assistant Principal and now as Principal. Watching our students grow, celebrating their successes, and working alongside our dedicated educators has only strengthened my belief that middle school is a transformative time in a child's life.
At Clement, we are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Together with our exceptional staff and supportive families, we strive to create an environment where students develop academically, socially, and emotionally while building the confidence and character needed for future success.
I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and celebrating our Viking pride. Thank you for your continued partnership and for being an important part of the Clement community.
Go Vikings!

Ebonee Ervin-Gardner, Assistant Principal
Hello Vikings!
I am thrilled to be joining the Viking family and bringing with me more than 20 years of experience in public education. During this time, I have had the privilege of serving students, families, and communities in a variety of roles, including 11 years as a classroom teacher. My journey in education began with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, which laid the foundation for my passion for teaching and learning. I later earned a Master of Arts in Special Education, deepening my knowledge and skills to better support diverse learners and advocate for their success.
At the heart of my work is a strong belief in equity and the conviction that every student is capable of learning, growing, and achieving great things when given the right tools and opportunities. I am committed to creating learning environments that honor the strengths of each student, celebrate diversity, and provide access to meaningful, rigorous education.
I am excited to share my expertise and continue learning from this incredible community. Together, I know we can inspire our students to reach their full potential and prepare them for success both in and out of the classroom. I look forward to being part of the Viking tradition and working side by side with students, staff, and families to make a positive impact.
