C-STEM Math & Coding

C-STEM Math/Coding (6th, 7th & 8th) - This class, based on the Common Core Math standards, uses hands-on robotics and block-based computing to develop and expand students’ understanding of math topics. Students analyze real life situations, identify given information, formulate mathematical steps to find a solution, and analyze the results for accuracy, all within the context of robotics and computer programming.  

Coding (7th & 8th) - In Coding students will get an introduction to the basics of computer science, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. Coding classes teach students the skills to build their own websites and apps and make them interactive and user-friendly by using databases and APIs.
