Expanded Learning Opportunities Program
Afterschool Education Exploration Program for 6th graders:
The Exploration Experience Programs of Redlands Unified School District provide a safe place for students to go after school. Funding for the program is provided through grants from the California Department of Education.
Program begins at school dismissal every day, even on Minimum Days, and ends at 6:15PM
Priority registration is given to students who qualify in any of the following categories.
- Foster Youth
- Homeless Youth
- Low-Income as determined by eligibility for Free / Reduced Meal Programs by Child Nutrition Services.
Students who do not qualify in one of the categories listed above, will be admitted to the program if space is available.
As long as grant-funding exists, the program will be provided free of cost. Donations are always welcome.
The program will be open for students enrolled on every school day, except three days per year when we close for Professional Development. For the 2024-2025 school year, we will close on the following dates:
- Friday, Nov 20, 2024
- Friday, Dec 20, 2024
- Friday, Mar 21, 2025
The EEP Programs operate at middle schools from school dismissal to 6:15PM. All students must be picked up by 6:15PM.
